POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Configuration Manager to join the Connected Vehicle Software Development team and manage a growing catalog of software and consumer-electronics products. The ideal candidate should have diverse technology background, excellent communication skills, and recent hands-on experience providing software, hardware, and documentation configuration-management support for R&D. Responsibilities: · Validate and maintain operational control of production systems configuration. · Own and participate in planning, identification, control, status reporting, auditing and release, and delivery of products and systems. · Perform change control and configuration audits. · Manage product releases and ensure they are documented and distributed to meet company-wide needs. · Perform software builds and releases using relevant tools (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, etc.) · Utilize configuration management tracking and version control tools (Git, JIRA, BitBucket) to store, track, and manage software configuration items. · Assist in the design and implementation of build procedures to aid in product creation and use. · Assist in the administration of source control, build tools, and repositories. · Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience in a technical discipline. · Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Configuration Management. · Experience working with the following platforms: Android, Web (PHP & Java), and iOS. · OS-level experience is a strong advantage! · Experience managing multiple concurrent projects. · Experience deploying and using configuration management and continuous-integration tools e.g. Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, etc. · Strong understanding of architecture for continuous integration and deployment, and continuous monitoring. · Capable of using scripting and basic programming skills to solve problems..
