*Major Responsibilities:*

o    Contracted resource will to assist BCBSMA in developing project
specific deliverables from the enterprise data warehouse environment.
Depending on the requirements of the individual project, the resource will
be required to perform one, some or all of the activities identified below.

o    Create/Enhance ETL jobs as needed to load external feeds into
warehouse tables/data mart tables.

o    Modify existing ETL jobs in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

o    Develop data extracts from the data warehouse environment using ODI.

o    Provide technical support to User Acceptance and Integration testing
environments by researching suspected anomalies and periodically refreshing
the environments.

o    Performance tuning ETL process and user queries.

o    Develop the production process to automate the ETL and create
documentation to transition the process to the Production team.

o    Resource may also be utilized as backfill for permanent staff on other
data warehouse activities as the need materializes.



*Qualifications:  (Knowledge, skills and abilities)*



o    Atleast 3 years experience on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI, formerly
Sunopsis) with 1 year exclusively on ODI 11g and 12C.

o    3 years experience in ETL development and Data Warehousing

o    5 years hands on SQL experience in a multi terabyte data warehousing
environment (Oracle, DB2 on AIX platform and Netezza).

o    Experience with data warehouse appliance Netezza is a plus.

o    Experience with BigData technologies – Hadoop, Spark, Python, MongoDB
is a plus

o    Proficiency in understanding relational, star schema and dimensional
data models

o    Excellent oral and written communication.

o    Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
