Duration: 12+ Months *Job Description:* Db2 Distributed application DBA to perform the following functions: The Senior Distributed DB2 Information Professional will be responsible for: · Working closely with developers to design, create and maintain schema objects, design and debug triggers, stored procedures and user defined functions · Monitor and maintain maximum performance of databases. Identify poorly performing queries and work with development teams to tune accordingly · Design and implement processes and procedures to reduce and eliminate database outages and downtime. Implement data backup and recovery procedures to prevent the loss of data from all types of failure. Document, plan, and test Disaster Recovery procedures · Design, implement and maintain database security strategies that provide the appropriate level of security for users and applications · Coordinates system changes with Customers and other system areas · Coordinates system support and performance · Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans · Ensures technology roadmaps are incorporated into data and database designs · Leads team tasks · Coordinates resolution of complex inter-domain technical problems. Resolves architectural issues and problems. Proactively identifies and resolves potential problems before they impact customers · Provide database deployment support for production and non-production environments · Performing DB2 LUW maintenance activities · Troubleshoot database production problems and database connectivity issues · Implement Business Continuity Solutions such as Database refresh, cloning, Database Backups, etc. · Oversee the monitoring the database environment for performance and other issues Thanks & Regards Mounika recrui...@nityainc.com/nitya.recruit...@gmail.com -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel?
