* Position: Software Tester*

*Location: Olympia, WA.*

*Duration: 6+ month’s contract.*





*                        H1B, TN visa, GC EAD also workable*





*Consultant is expected to perform software testing activities such as but
not limited to:*



*• Executing test plans and documenting results*

*• Reviewing business requirements and use cases and from them reating and
executing test    cases and scripts*

*• Developing performance tests*

*• Creating test data*

*• Performing system testing, integration testing and regression testing.*

*• Utilizing Microsoft Test Manager*

*• Utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server to document test outcomes*



*Required to have no less than 2 years’ experience:*


• Developing Test Strategies
• Developing Test Plans
• Developing Test Cases/Scripts
• Developing Test Data
• Analyzing Requirements
• Analyzing Design Specs
• Analyzing User Stories


*Required to have some level of recent experience:*


• Executing different test types such as system test, integration test,
regression test, performance test, user acceptance testing.
• Defining acceptance criteria
• Defining success factors
• Defining test goals
• Utilizing Microsoft Test Manger
• Utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Reviewing test conditions and criteria identified in test cases
• Executing Test Scripts
• Documenting defects including steps to reproduce
• Managing defects in TFS
• Assigning defect severity and priority and performing defect triage
• Testing in an Agile Framework



*Required to demonstrate:*


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral



*Desired to have some level of experience:*


• Utilizing Testing automation
• Executing testing on financial systems
• Working on a project
