6-12 Months Contract *NO H1B.* *Phone then In_Person* *Job Responsibilities:* • Administer database and database software • Proactively monitor the database servers to ensure high availability • Work with development team for Data Modeling • Maintain Data Dictionary • Review the performance of databases on a periodic basis to identify and provide recommendations to enhance performance including index updates. • Work with Deployment Team Members to plan, review and deploy databases and database updates for applications • Develop Data Transformation scripts • Verify database and backup jobs are run successfully according to their defined schedules • Provide periodic reports on the performance, capacity and availability of database servers. • Deploy Database patches and updates. • Support query optimization, explain plans, etc. • Support PL/SQL development *Essential Skills:* 1. Extensive knowledge and expertise with at least four years of database administration experience in 2. Oracle 12c Desired Skills: § Linux § Welogic Server Oracle Certified DBA (Optional).
