The Epic EMR is a comprehensive electronic medical record system that allows providers to deliver all services for patient care. The Project Manager / Implementation Analyst will be responsible for coordinating the project management effort with the Epic Project Manager associated with H+H; for identifying the business needs from multiple bureaus within DOHMH’s Division of Disease Control and translating the needs into software requirements. The consultant will work with both the Network Technology Services and IT Security units at DOHMH to ensure all devices are operational and connected appropriately to the system and network; that all external reporting integrations are implemented and operational and that the connectivity and data transmission between the Epic EMR and the Cerner laboratory management system is functional and operational.
