*Candidate Responsibilities:*

Ø  Our group is responsible for creating
applications/visualizations/processes to support worldwide forecasters.

Ø  Design, code, test and debug programs of varying levels of complexity.

Ø  Analyze user requests and software requirements for the feasibility of
design and potential impact while conscious of time and cost constraints.

Ø  Complex application problem identification and resolution.



*Typical Day:*

Daily activities will mostly be the development of new applications but may
have occasion to support existing applications. They will help gather and
interpret requirements from our customers. They will brainstorm and
troubleshoot problems.



*Education Requirements: *

*Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. *

*2-5 years of experience required.*



*Technical Skills:*

Ø  *Candidate must be highly proficient in Tableau workbook configuration*,

Ø  *SAS programing language*,

Ø  *Oracle database development *

Ø  *SQL*.



If those skills are not available, we may be interested in candidates with
either Tableau workbook configuration OR SAS programing language / Oracle
database development / SQL at a lower rate.



*Soft Skills:*

Ø  Ability to work with people, good commutation skills (English), detail
orienting, can manage work assignments.

Ø  Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills,
customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ø  Ability to work independently on complex issues.

Ø  Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed
to resolve issue. Strong knowledge of the full software development
lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering
and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and
delivery.
