Work closely with business users and various platform, application and support teams to deliver reporting solutions. Develop, test and deploy new data pipelines (ETL) to support Google’s requirements. Support existing data pipelines. Troubleshoot and fix production issues; implement enhancements in existing data pipelines and reports. Create project specific artifacts such as technical design documents, source to target transformation mapping docs, data dictionary, data flow diagrams etc. Build reports and dashboards to support business critical decision making. Own specific project areas and take proactive measures to maintain the health of the overall system. Work closely with other members in the team to contribute to the improvement of the broader reporting landscape. *Qualifications:* 8+ yrs of experience in architecting and implementing full scale data warehouse systems Experience working with Web-scale databases, Columnar or NoSQL technologies Master level knowledge of SQL Extensive hands-on experience in implementing data pipelines using ETL tools such as Pentaho Kettle (preferable), Informatica, IBM datastage etc Strong hands-on experience in building reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau etc Experience with at least a programming language (Java, or Python). -- Are you =EXP(E:RT) or =NOT(EXP(E:RT)) in Excel?
