*Role: Sr. Data Engineer*

*Location: Fort Mills, SC*


Maintain and optimize data pipelines so that our database is a source of
truth for decision making

•             Design, build, test, and maintain machine learning
infrastructure to empower data scientists to rapidly iterate on model
development.

•             Develop continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
pipelines on top of Crisis Text Line infrastructure for multiple algorithm
development teams

•             Establish architecture for real-time, global data and metric
visualization tools

•             Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and
run pilots to design the data architecture to scale with the increased data
volume

•             Join a rapidly-growing Engineering, Machine Learning, and
Data Science team at Crisis Text Line



Requirements

•             5+ years of industry experience

•             3+ years experience in developing continuous integration and
deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)

•             3+ years experience with AWS and/or GCP

•             Proficient knowledge of git, Docker and containers, Kubernetes

•             Advanced database management systems skills (particularly
MySQL / PostgreSQL)

•             Experience with one or more data science languages (Python,
Scala, R)

•             Experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow,
Keras, and Pytorch)

•             Familiarity with Terraform

•             Familiarity with distributed storage and processing of big
data with Hadoop and Spark

•             Ability to build scalable machine learning systems spanning
multiple teams or organizations

•             Experience with streaming applications like Lambda and Kafka

•             RDS

•             CloudTrail
