We have Exchange Server 2003 on Windows Server 2003. The following problem has recently arisen. OWA is not widely used at present so I am not sure when the following, which had not been a problem before, became so.
When a user attempts to open word documents in a public folder via OWA they get - HTTP 403 (Forbidden) You are not authorised to view this page etc The public folders are themselves accessible through OWA. Access to user's mailbox is successful through OWA. Accessing the same public folder documents via full Outlook client works. I think the probelm must relate to IIS but cannot solve it. Any help would be appreciated. Within the IIS Manger hierarchy, at Web Sites and at Exhange Virtual Server (used in place of default web site) I have the following settings - > Properties, Home Directory tab Read, Write, Directory Browsing enabled I also have these enabled for the Public folder below the Exchange Virtual Server Thanks Alastair Morrison --------------------------------------------- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Strathclyde University Glasgow UK _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
