I worked for a company where we had three very large Exchange 2000 clusters with information stores and transaction logs on the SAN. I was pretty skeptical at first (remembering the phrase "friends don't let friends cluster Exchange"), and they indeed were having problems with those clusters.
They actually had one Veritas and two Microsoft clusters. They ended up ditching Veritas because it gave the most problems. Most of the problems were SAN-related, issues with fiber-channel adapter drivers, plus there were issues in the SAN itself. In the end, when the driver issues were resolved and the SAN was straightened out, Exchange 2000 clusters ran great. -----Original Message----- From: Jason Rader [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 9:03 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Exch 2003 Clustering Anyone have any experience with this? We thought about implementing a cluster on our exch 2000 servers but heard to many horror stories. Is exch 2003 on server 2003 any better?
