Determining whether the message ever reaches your system depends on your infrastructure, checking on the Exchange server may not be enough if it is not the first point of entry into your network. To check whether the message hit your Exchange server, look in the Message Tracking area of Exchange System Manager, searching for incoming messages intended for the recipient. Remember also that there is a certain amount of overhead attached to a message after it is sent.
