It shouldn't be a problem. Exchange may hang for a little while when you demote the DC until it finds the new one.

I am planning to create another DC move the roles to this one and demote the old D, my goal let exchange to run on a member server (keep the same name), do you think this process could damage the exchange operation? thx, Eric _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
