You're 5.5 so I'm not sure option 3 is actually an option. Option 2
would be the method I'd choose as corruption tends not to follow (100%
accurate? I dunno, but more than close enough for govt work in my
experience). Re: 1? Maybe, but I'd go with option 2 unless there's a
compelling reason to look for alternatives.

Conversation: Removing corrupted emails after repair on 5.5
Subject: Removing corrupted emails after repair on 5.5

Yesterday I was lucky enough to perform a repair and restore of our
wonderful 5.5 database after NAV decided my edb.log file was a virus.
My question is that after I ran the repair, defrag, and ISINTEG we now
how quite a few emails that in users' mailboxes that are corrupt. There
are many emails that are not able to be moved or deleted. Here are my
questions...

1. Is there a utility that will help with the removal of these emails?

2. If I were to build a new box and move the mailboxes would the
corruption follow?

3. If I were to build a new store on the same box and move the
mailboxes would the corruption follow?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!!
