Well IF it's a virus with it's own SMTP engine...and it infects the client..etc then likely it will just look for the Gateway out of your network assigned to the client machine. Thus it is not likely the mail will relay thru your 55 box but that the SMTP engine on the client machine will just go out the gateway. So likely you will have to look at your gateway and/or Firewall to block SMTP traffic outbound for everything..Except your 55 box...
Then if a client machine or anything else tries to send out SMTP it would be blocked... or at least that's what I kind'a do.
