I am installed an Exchange 2003 server and followed MSKB307917 before removing the Exchange 2000 server. There was a problem uninstalling some components of Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration Services (setup failed while deleting the service EXIFS). Running the uninstall a second time failed, this time services that aren�t install couldn�t be removed. Exchange 2003 System Manager still has remnants of Exchange 2000 server. There doesn�t seem to be any problems with mail. I disabled all the Exchange services on the Exchange 2000 that were started and rebooted the server. I will leave things as they are for now. I am not sure how to proceed. I can�t find any information on this issue this issue, any help would be appreciated.
