Exchange 2000 SP3

We had a drive in one of our SANS that started to fail. At the same
time we received this error. The database is located on that SAN. Does
this mean that the database is indeed corrupt? Is it possible to just
create a new DB and move the mail over or will that copy the bad page
over to the new DB? I am trying to avoid running a repair. What
options do I have other than a restore and a repair? Thanks.
