short answer .. yes we used to run xwall on the same gateway server as Webshield SMTP ... (i.e. Mcafee )... we stopped because we weren't able to get SLS lookups (mcafee was in front of Xwall ) .. but XWall has a command line virus checking function as well , so we now use only Xwall with its virus scanning ... it is not as robust as I would like, but it stops viruses .... xwall is extremely stable with lots of configuration options ... it has NO reporting functions , but very good log files ... support is great (from the developer) for the money, it is excellent .... although you MUST put some time into understanding and working with it's limitations hope that helps mike

I am think of installing Xwall for spam filtering and like to get some comment from other who is using the products. We have two Exchange 5.5, one is where all the mailbox is and the other is the bridgehead server with Inoculate IT scanning for virus. If I have Inoculate It scanning for virus can I run Xwall on this server?
