Connect outlook to the mailbox prior to hiding it; when sending to the mailbox after hiding it, specify the full smtp address of the mailbox.

(something about confidential personnel data being sent to it) If I create a mailbox enabled user, then "hide" from the global address book (exchange advanced) then you can't send it email from outlook. Also, you can't configure outlook to open the mailbox. (at least I can't). How can you hide a mailbox from the address lists, yet still be able to send mail to it?
