Yes. It works fine for what it does, and you certainly can't beat getting it for free (or included as part of your maintenance for Corp 8.1). Just like most other anti-spam products, it requires quite a bit of maintenance to keep the keyword list updated, but other than that, I think it works well.
One side note is that although you have to install IIS on the server you are running it on, you need to make sure that you disable the SMTP service, as it uses it's own built-in SMTP engine. If both are running and you reboot, it's a race to see which one will claim port 25 first. If IIS gets it, you won't be able to receive e-mail because there will be a port conflict and the SAV product won't be able to listen on port 25. We just upgraded our servers to Corporate edition 8.1 and with the purchase we get the above referenced software. Anyone using the above product to block potential viruses, spam, etc? If so, how does it work? Any issues? Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
