Post-SP3 rollup for E2k is supposed to fix this, if it is the same problem I have seen on some of our servers. I have found that a reboot or two will give you temporary respite from the error and allow you to get a backup, but you will eventually get this logged again and your backups will fail.

The expected checksum was 2928845483 (0xae92a2ab) and the actual checksum was 3806978948 (0xe2e9e384). The read operation will fail with error -613 (0xfffffd9b). If this condition persists then please restore the database from a previous backup. -------- And the MS knowledgebase explains that I can either restore from a previous backup or run eseutil /p command, and then run the isinteg -fix command on the affected store. They give warnings that running the above may leave the store unstable. I also have to try and figure out what caused the corruption, but I must say, that I never had any problems with E2K in 2 years, until I installed BU-Exec. Coincidence? The problem is, my last successful backup was Friday and I have been struggling with BU Exec since I've installed it so I don't really trust that backup as it is.
