If you use Veritas Backup Exec already you can usually backup the system
partition that way then restore to a new location. I don't know about other
backup software's ability to see those system partitions.

Subject: access utility partition (possible OT)

I need a tool that can access the utility partitions through windows When
you build an IBM or Compaq server using the there server build software it
installs a 50 - 60 mb utility partition that is not mounted in windows I am
looking for a utility that I can use to pull files from that partition. It
is on a production server so I can't reboot it.
I tried mounting the partition through disk manager but you can't mount it.
Server is win2000 sp3
