Does if give a reason for retry? Does anything show up in the event log? Can the 2003 server resolve the name of 2000 server in DNS?
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Erick Thompson Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 2004 5:45 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Problem sending mail between servers I set up a EX 2003 server on a Win2003 server, which exists alongside a EX2k server which is running on the primary server (DC type roles). Users with a mailbox on the EX2k server can send messages to users on the EX2003 server, but not the other way around. All the messages are in the queue, with a status of retry, but I can't find where the problem is. Any suggestions? Thanks, Erick _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang =english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
