I have been running a Barracuda300 for about 2 months and I love it. It couldnt have been easier to set up and it has all the bells and whistles you could want. We have Exch2000 with about 1500 mailboxes, over 1000 of which are college students. The box has been rock-solid since I put it in and I really didnt want to install any software on it. Also, we didnt really have a budget for anti-spam and some of the products out there were 15,000+. We get roughly 50000 emails a day, 5500 are delivered, another 3500 are quarantined and the rest are vaporized - my Exchange server loves me! Being an academic institution, we needed something that would provide a very high degree of end-user involvement and the individual quarantine on the Barracuda provides that nicely. The only drawback I have found is that they issue firmware updates more often than MS security patches but its a fairly new device so thats to be expected and they are no problem to install.
