EX5.5 sp4, 25GB Priv, 45GB pub Information Store service won't stop any more, store.exe doesn't hang but even after 10+ hours the service won't stop. eseutil /g produced many ERROR: node [2923072:0]: leaf node check failed ERROR: orphaned LV (lid 1106111, size 7869672, refcount 0). Non-corrupting error in both priv and pub.
KBA 185271 seems the only correct article - 181824 seems to refer to pre-sp4 at least, eseutil /g has been performed several times after sp4 and no problems have been found. 185271 basically says it is not a stringent problem, and to perform a offline defragmentation in order to reclaim the space. I'm going to perform that on a test server and see what happens. Any special advice ?
