1. I believe it will delete items which are marked as expired instead of
archiving them. (i.e. mail messages which are flagged with 'expire
after')

2. See 1.

3. See 1.

Subject: Auto Archiving

When enabling auto archiving (Tools -> Options -> Auto Archive), there
is
an option that you can select that says "Delete expired items when Auto
Archiving (e-mail folders only)."

Questions:
1. Does this mean messages will be PERMANENTLY deleted instead of moved
to the archive file?

2. Or does this mean messages will be moved to Deleted Items of the
archive folder or mailbox?

3. What constitutes an item being expired?

Thank you for any explanations provided!
