This weekend I migrated our Ex5.5 to E2K this weekend by joining the E2K
machine to the 5.5 site and migrating the mailboxes and public folders.
Thus far all mail is flowing in and out thru the E2K SMTP connector and
as users connect their profiles are getting updating.

We also run OWA on front end Win2K server and that 5.5 installation is
able to get to the new server an open the email. I had planned on
uninstalling the OWA 55 from that machine and then install an E2K front
end server in its place during the weekend but ran into a problem I am
stumped on.

In preparation for this, I needed to install the NNTP service on this
W2K server. When I installed the component and rebooted the machine the
NNTP service errored out on trying to start. What seems to have occurred
is that the service installed correctly but the NNTP schema was unable
to be added the IIS metabase. I opened the metabase with MetaEdit and
the /LM/NNTP schema is clearly missing.

Has anyone run into this issue before? My searches on the web produced
nothing close this weekend.

Is there any way to manually run a script to add the schema? I am
guessing that there must be a script file(s) that handle this.

Thanks
-Dave Vantine
