Jeez, MVPs are all such weenies. What happens if you create a new
profile and sync? Not suggesting that is the 'solution' to the problem,
just want to know if the behavior changes.

<shameless groveling>
I bow at the feet of the MVP masters...
</shameless groveling>

With the obligatory pennance out of the way, here's my latest problem.

Server:  Exchange v5.5 SP4 running on Windows 2000 SP4+

I have several Outlook XP users getting a "Task 'Microsoft Exchange
Server'
reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not
be
found." error message when they sync their offline folders to the
Exchange
5.5 server.

The problem occurs when the clients try to download the Offline Address
Book. I verified this by looking at the Syncronization logs under
Outlook
XP. Specifically, the errors from the log file are as follows:

8:50:58 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
8:50:58         0X8004010F

I've done the usual Microsoft kb searches and usenet/Google searches.
Every
article either addresses problems after upgrading Exchange 2003 or they
tell
you to rebuild the Offline Address Book. I have rebuilt the Offline
Address
Book and the problem still exists.

For what it is worth, this behavior started shortly after I used the "Ed
Crowley Swing Method"(tm) to migrate our old Ex5.5 server to the new
one.  A
few days after removing the old server from the site, these errors
started
popping up. I check the replicas and our new mail server is the only
replica listed for each system folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Eric
