I keep bringing this question up to my TAM! I've had two different MS IIS techies swear that there is a urlscan.ini file sanctioned by Microsof for use on OWA which will not cause problems with messages. So far, noone has been able to produce said ini file...
BTW, there is a newer version of URLScan available than the one that comes with iislockdown. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dave Vantine Sent: Wednesday, May 12, 2004 3:29 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: IIS lockdown Just recently installed a E2K front end for OWA and am wondering if others have used the IIS lockdown on them. I have discovered that pages will not display with the deny of URL sequences &, \, .., and trailing . characters in the subject line. I am considering commenting these out as it does hinder some utility in the OWA and was wondering how others using the Lockdown have dealt with this issue. Thanks -Dave Vantine _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
