We only have one SMTP connector in place. We are using two SMTP virtual servers.

Most likely your primary connector uses an address space of "*", which matches any domain, so you have to force it to try the other connector first. I have done the following: Assigned the network card on the server two IP addresses. The first IP address is assigned to the first virtual server. The second IP address is assigned to the second virtual server. I have created an SMTP virtual server that uses the second IP address. I have also created an SMTP connector that lists the second SMTP Server as the Virtual server and assigned the address space of the domain to this connector. However, I can't seem to get Exchange to send through this second SMTP server for this domain. Am I doing something wrong?
