Slipstick.com may have some answers. -----Original Message----- From: WAISEL, HAROLD B [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, April 30, 2004 8:46 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Outlook 2000 - Customized Tasks / Migration question
This allows me to export based upon the fact that there is some data in the custom columns, but it does not seem to export the custom columns themselves. For example, setting up a new user-defined field "TEST FIELD", I can populate tasks with information in that column, and use it as an advanced filter. But then when I look at the PST file, the column is not there. If I recreate the exact column name in the PST, I can then see the data that was entered in the original Task list. I'm trying to get the custom fields exported automatically, especially if someone has created many custom fields. Any other possibilities? -----Original Message----- From: David, Andy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 28, 2004 4:29 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Outlook 2000 - Customized Tasks / Migration question Im thinking you can export those out via the standard Outlook Import/export wizard using the filter/advanced option. -----Original Message----- From: WAISEL, HAROLD B [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 28, 2004 4:13 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Outlook 2000 - Customized Tasks / Migration question User created some custom fields (via the Field Chooser) in her Tasks section of Outlook 2000. We have migrated since migrated her mail to a new organization. Exmerge does not seem to bring over the custom fields, although the tasks are still there in the new mailbox. Does anyone know where the information is kept for these custom fields? Is it a server or client-specific setting? She is still on the same desktop, so I'm wondering if it is somewhere in her profile.
