All, I completed the final migration of public folders from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 yesterday, using PFMigrate /D to remove the original replica on EX5.5.
One of these folders is configured to receive incoming mail from the internet. It also has a 90 day limit on the folder. Since it normally receives a lot of messages, I was notified when it had stopped receving mail. When I check the Message Tracking for this particular address, I can see a ton of messages coming in, and I can see that the messages were delivered locally to the folder in question - but I don't see them in the folder in Outlook. (Already checked Recover Deleted Items - with DumpsterAlwaysOn; nothing here to recover for today). As a test, I added back a replica to EX5.5 and shortly afterwards, new messages began to appear in the folder. The messages sent between 4PM last night and 10AM today, however, are no where to be found. Two Questions Where'd the mail go?? How can I fix this? Thank you.
