*IF* you are using MSDE to hold your config database. As another poster mentioned, if you elect to use a SQL server, the supplied documentation is a bit, um, weak.
Go poke around the blackberry web site's support area. There's some support documents that help flesh out the docs. Also, for developing apps, download their SDK.
