That's odd, by the book, MS recommends an off-line defrag every 3 months. I've always laughed at that recommendation but I do a defrag at least once a year and integ checks once every 4-6 months and backup tape verification checks every month. Since my last defrag, I've deleted about 15 users and I know I can reduce the priv by at least 2gb. 2gb less fat makes me happier and I'll sleep better at night. <g> >Are you seeing errors that indicate a problem.
