All,

I'm having a weird problem lately.  When our SMTP mail is sent out it
just hangs in the queue for like 5-10mins then eventually gets
delivered.

I did some tracking on messages and this is what I see listed in the
log:

Event Time Event
28/01/2004 8:26 am SMTP:Message Submitted to Advanced Queuing
28/01/2004 8:26 am SMTP:Started Message Submission to Advanced Queue
28/01/2004 8:26 am SMTP:Message Submitted to Categorizer

It seems that the messages are just hanging in the Categorizer.  What
could be the issue regarding this problem?

Entire Org E2K, Native mode.  Have 2 SMTP (Interscan) Gateways.  Have
E2K Mailbox servers pointing to these servers as Smart hosts.
