All,

Managed to work this one out in the end, now have a self-contained app to
recursively scan all PF's and return a set of properties (I'm using it to
get the full folder path and the PR_HAS_RULES (Folder Assistant) flags).

If anyone wants a copy (VB.NET) - can be customised to return basically any
MAPI properties, just shoot me an email.

Thanks

Subject: Identifying PF's with AR Rule

All,

We are currently migrating our Exchange PF's from one server to another (due
to some weirdness on the first Exchange server - long story). When we rehome
these PF's, it seems as though the Auto-reply rules are not being carried
across and we have to manually re-create them (not really a major issue).

The problem is, out of approx 3000 PF's we have, about 50 have auto-reply
rules, but locating them is very time consuming (basically requires us to
look at each PF through outlook to locate them).

Is there any way (scripting or otherwise) to scan through the PF hierarchy
and locate those PF's that have an auto-reply rule set, and (optionally)
list the contents of the rule ? Identifying them is probably more important
at the moment, as once we identify them we can manually copy the rules
across.

Thoughts ?

TIA

Glenn Corbett
