Be looking for an updated version of BCEE.. the current version is
opening hundreds of folders (using the account you configured in the
BCEE application) for each person using this access. If(when) you move
to exchange 2003, the server will start dumping 9646 errors. I have it
from our Sprint tech rep that a patched version of BCEE should be out
shortly to fix this issue. (the service is using MAPI32.dll from the
Exchange 2000 ESM you had to install.. it's opening folders in the
mailboxes, but doesn't close them.. just keeps opening new connections).

You can see what you look like on this subject by running ESM->mailbox
database->logon and then choose 'add/remove columns->open folders'.

Does work well other that this problem.

We're just rolling out the Treo 600 from Sprint. We have installed
Sprint BCEE (Business Connection Enterprise Edition)software on a server
here so our exchange 2000 email is now integrated directly with the
Treos. Software is quick and easy to install --- took about 15 minutes,
then another 20 minutes in a conference call with Sprint configuring it.
Has an option to send a "delete all information" to a Treo if the phone
is lost or stolen. Extremely cost effective -- basically about $10 per
month per phone, no charge for the server software. Uses AES
encryption (better than SSL).

We have our phones set to sync email every 15 minutes during the week
and every 2hours on weekends --- this is configurable at each phone.

So far there have been no problems, but we just released the phones to
our senior team last week (3 folks in IT have been using them for a
couple of monthes without problems)

Let me know if you want more information!

Exec got Treo 600. Got it to do POP3.

Anyone have experience trying to move towards Blackberry-ish, i.e.
receiving emails every X minutes, also syncing calendars, etc.

TIA
