Your Default Website is probably set up to require authentication, not just
/exchange and /public virtual directories. Also check whether the exchweb
virtual directory is set up to require authentication.

I have one Exhcngae2003 running on a memember server, I have noticed that
each time I want tp open a URL sent in a message or when I log off owa I am
prompte dfor my domain credentials? is this normal? any way to remove that
"feature"?
