Well, I've even tried it in Mozilla Firefox (which does work for OWA),
and the result of pressing the change password button is a screen that
says "Object Disabled."

All users get the same 404 error, so it's not just my machine,
unfortunately.

Additionally, I did look at our URLScan settings, and the .htr extension
had been disabled, but when I eneabled it, the situation did not change.
Yes, I did restart the www service after making the change.

Did you delete cached IE temp files and refresh the options page?

Subject: OWA Change Password 404 Not Found Problem

Hello,

I'm sure someone in here will have seen this before.

I've got SSL set up in IIS on our Exchange server (Exchange 2000, SP3,
on Windows 2000 server, all latest SP's). The SSL works just fine, no
problems there. However, after following the KB articles related to
setting up the password change feature in OWA, I still cannot access it.
I get a 404 error whenever I press the change password button.

Now, I've looked at the following articles, none of which have helped:

321582 (obviously, we're using SSL)
301428 (all options with regards to local policies are set exactly as
noted)
328242 (OWA was installed under the default website, and the listed
DLL's are not present in the IISADMPWD virtual directory.

328242 is the article I thought would help because it's the only one of
these that mentions the 404 error.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm somewhat lost at this point, and
perhaps someone has seen this problem before.

Thanks,

Matt Hoffman
