Our Exchange 2003 front-end server is configured to use forms based authentication. When an OWA 2003 user logs on and chooses the 'premium' client, everything works properly until the user tries to access a public folder that they have no permissions to. At this point, the user gets a dialog box stating that the 'session has expired' and they must login again to continue using OWA. However, when the user logs on and chooses the 'basic' client, OWA 2003 behaves properly and displays 'This folder can't be displayed. You don't have permission to perform this action'. Does anyone know why the basic OWA client works properly while the premium OWA client does not?
