Outlook is now set to rich text and it's still doing it... Any other ideas.

Sorry, having a moment.

No, but is set to send as HTML rather than rich or plain text, if that
makes a difference??

Subject: Outlook 2000 Oddity

Hi Folks

I have an Outlook 2000 client with some odd behaviour. When the user
sends an email sometimes the word 'melding' is inserted into the
beginning of the body text. Other times the subject text is inserted
into the beginning of body text.

The sent items folder has the insertions in the mail so it would appear
to be a client issue.

It does have virus hallmarks, but I can't see anything on Google or
Symantec. It happens infrequently and there is no payload attached to
it.
The Symantec Anti virus scanner is up to date with real time scanning
enabled; it does not detect anything amiss during a manual scan.

I've reinstalled Outlook with no success. This is the only machine to
exhibit such behaviour.

Has anybody got any ideas about this?

Many Thanks

Alister
