That is the only way that I have been able to do it. I have not done
any work to figure out why, I figured it was just as quick to TS into
the exchange server and let it run from there.

Okay, I seem to have found my problem, I think. I TS'ed directly into
the Exchange server, and was able to move a mailbox using ADUC from
their. I couldn't do it from my XP workstation, even though I had
installed the Exchange management tools. Is there something else I need
to install on my workstation to allow me to move mailboxes?

>From what I've read, you can do it from either place. However, the same
appears in ADUC. There is no "Move Mailbox" option.

Uh, You don't use ESM to do that. You use Active Directory Users and
Computers to manage individual mailboxes with E2K and E2K3.

Subject: No "Move Mailbox" option after Exchange 2003 install

Hi all, I'm in the process of migrating to Exchange 2003 SP1 from
Exchange
5.5 SP4. I have successfully installed the Exchange 2003 server into
the same org as the Exchange 5.5 server, and I am able to see and manage
the both servers in the ESM as well as the 5.5 Exchange Administrator
program.
I've tweaked the settings on the SMTP virtual server and created an
SMTPC to reflect the necessary settings for our Internet mail, preparing
for the time when this server will replace the 5.5 server.

I'm attempting to do a test move with a mailbox, and I've run into a
problem. If I right click on the mailbox in the ESM and choose Exchange
Tasks, I don't get a Move Mailbox option. All I get is Configure
Exchange Features. If I try and move the mailbox in the 5.5
Administrator, I get no error, but the mailbox isn't moved.

Have I missed something in my process? Is there some "connection" I
need to setup between the two Exchange servers to allow me to move
mailboxes. I'm worried that I'll run into problems when I attempt to
replicate public folders over.

Thanks for any and all help sent my way.
