Upgraded Track-It! to ver 6. Audit reporting no longer works. Audited software is divided into "tracked items" and "managed software." The tracked items are said to be picked up by the audit scan of the registry. The managed items are all programs it finds with an exe extention.
The "tracked items" list obviously misses many software packages, even Office. I asked Track-It! support how to combine and "tracked item" and "managed software" into one report. They pointed me towards their ERD. Time to junk Track-It?
