All, We are running an exchange 2003 environment with mainly OL 2000 but quite a few OL 2K3 clients. When users go to access public folders and open any item in public folders with attachments, it can take up to as much as 5 seconds before the posting opens. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the slowdowns. If it's slow opening the first time it's quick to open in subsequent attempts. I'm thinking it might be a DNS issue since we're getting the error message on our Outlook 2003 clients saying it's having a trouble retrieving data from the FQDN instead of just the server name. If any one has any insight as to what this might be, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for all your help.
