Hi everyone, excuse the cross post , but i'm hoping i can get light shed on this subject
I have two questions regarding the public folder use, I noticed on some machines if go to accecc an attachment that is in a public folder one some machines it opens right up, and on others you get the "open or save to disk" option ( probably browser setting related, if so where do I make the change?) But the MAIN thing i'm trying to find out, is if a change is made to document and I hit save it saves it locally to the machine, is there a way to save the change in the public folder itself? What I'm trying to accomplish is the following; User ABC posts the doc, user XYZ opens it, makes neccessary corrections, then 123 looks at it, makes other changes, so that user ABC can see the changes. Instead of making a new post ,can the original doc in the original post be modified, so that instead of having 3 posts with the same document they can just work on the same post and the same doc. I hope i explained clearly what it is I'm trying to do, and is these even possible?
