I would think mailbox limit enforcement would correspond to whatever is reported by the Exch Server. BTW, how are you determining mailbox size in Outlook?

Also I think it has something to do with read & unread message as Exchange will report on the unread message but the size goes down as the user reads their messages. Thanks again, Cheers, Phil -----Original Message----- From: Missy Koslosky [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, 1 September 2004 2:09 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Re: File size differences between Outlook XP & Exchange 2000sp3 This is because there's a crappy MAPI screw up (say that three times fast) in the code somewhere. No known resolution. :( ----- Original Message ----- From: "Phil Thomas" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Exchange Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, August 31, 2004 8:15 PM Subject: File size differences between Outlook XP & Exchange 2000sp3 Hi All, I'm puzzled as to why some of our users are reporting different folder sizes between Outlook XP & Exchange Server 2000 SP3 and was hoping you might have some advice. It's only a very small number of users. Eg Exchange Server Admin reports 800kb in UserA mailbox but Outlook reports 25MB. Thanks in advance, Cheers, Phil _____________________________________________________________ Phil Thomas mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] IT Infrastructure Phone: (07) 38298203 Redland Shire Council Mobile: 0408 151 120 _____________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
