The various Sybari Spam Managers operate within the Internet connector
level of whatever version of Exchange is installed, so they stop spam
before it reaches the store, assuming that the purge setting is used.

Subject: AntiSpam softeare and size of the Information Store

Hi

Beside "gateway(DMZ) or external AntiSpam Provider solution", does
someone know wich AntiSpam product installed on the exchange server
stop
Spam before they reach the Store (priv.edb, stm) and make it grow ?

Does MS AntiProduct catch Spam before they reach the store ? Is that
tool really free ? Working Well ?

For now I think that AntiSpam Gateway are a very good alternative...
They stop SPAM before they affect bandwith, cpu, disk space of your
Exchange organization
