In our ORG there are several other sites located all over the world. One of the features with Exchange 2003 SP1 and "Rollup Patch" is the ability to select a user from the System Admin in Exchange 2003 and move that account either within the same site their account is currently in or between sites. The "Cross Administrative Group Move" however, warns that all Exchange 5.5 public folder servers in ALL sites with the ORG must have the Directory Service/Information Store (DS/IS) consistency adjuster patch applied.
With all of these "other sites" within the ORG located all over the world, the hopes of getting these admins to applied these patches so that we can move mailboxes here in the US is like trying to win the lottery without buying a ticket.
When you click on next the move wizard goes out and checks each of those other servers and if the patch is not applied, it reports the servers and then stops ... only option is to cancel out.
Is there a way around this? ... reg hack ... break site connections? ... has anyone ran into this before?
We have about 1500 mailboxes to move from site A and B to C ... any help is appreciated.
