What about Public Folders? Can Exmerge take care of that too?

Another question is can this E2K server also be used as a backup FrontEnd
server for the domain and if so what needs to be done (besides updating the
DNS MX record)? The current primary servers (FrontEnd/BackEnd) are in the
headquarters, with a 1Mbps WAN line connecting it to our office. They are
running in mixed-mode.

Or the migration wizard or a third-party tool such as Aelita.

Exmerge.

You can do cross-domain move-mailbox on Exchange 2003 sp1 and above - but
not in the environment you describe.

Subject: New EX2K Setup

I'm sure this scenario has already been asked about, but I can't find it on
the FAQ or archives.

I'm running E55 on an NT4 SP6a box in NT domain. I want to install E2K on a
WIN2K box, in a WIN2K AD, to join an existing E2K organization, and move the
mailboxes from 55 to 2K. There is already a WIN2K AD DC with
SP3 in place and there is a trust between NT & AD domains.
What's the least troublesome method to do this, both from server and
client's perspectives?

Thanks
