I always use quotes around the LDAP query: -r "(query)" And have never used them around the stuff that goes after -l

Just once in a query? When I've searched on CSVDE and found examples, inc the MS site (which admittedly was for XP but wouldn't have thought it would be that different), they have had quote marks on both commands (-r and -l) or if showing a -r query, no quote marks. I'm not doubting you , I'm just try to find what's right for the future. thanks > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Fyodorov, Andrey FTL > Sent: 29 September 2004 14:59 > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: RE: Help with csvde query > > > You have a mismatch of " quote marks. > > Also whatever goes after -l does not need to be surrounded by > quote marks. > > I just tried to run my command and it worked fine - > CSVDE -f maillimit.csv -r > "(&(objectclass=user)(mailnickname=*))" -l > name,mDBStorageQuota,mDBOverQuotaLimit,mDBOverHardQuotaLimit > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Rob Hackney > Sent: Wednesday, September 29, 2004 9:53 AM > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: RE: Help with csvde query > > > Thanks for this Andrey for pointing out my small error! > I tired it but it didn't like it (no entries written) so I > knocked off the > mailnickname=* but still didn't like it.
